Do I rinse it off before bed?
No. It is a leave-on overnight mask: apply it as the last step, let it dry down for a few minutes, and sleep in it. Wash it off with your normal cleanser in the morning.
Will it protect my skin from UV damage?
No. This is a night mask and it contains no UV filters. Vitamin C derivatives are antioxidants, which is a different job from sun protection. Please use a separate sunscreen every day.
Why does my face feel slightly tight after it dries?
Pullulan is a film-forming ingredient and gives a light tightening sensation as the gel sets. It is a texture effect, not the mask acting on the skin, and it eases off as you fall asleep.
Is it halal-suitable?
No. The declared formula contains ethanol as well as hydrolyzed collagen, succinylated atelocollagen and hydrolyzed elastin, all animal-derived. There is no halal certification for this product.
