How to Use
- After your serum, take a pearl-sized amount — about 1 cm across.
- Warm it briefly between your fingertips.
- Massage gently over the whole face, then down the neck and décolleté.

- In the morning, always finish with sunscreen over it. Any vitamin A derivative is a reason to be consistent about that.

On "retinol": this cream contains retinyl palmitate, which is not the same thing. Retinyl palmitate is an ester of vitamin A. The skin has to convert it before it does anything, and it is substantially milder than retinol — gentler if you have found retinol too much, and weaker if you were looking for retinol's strength. Either way you should know which one you are buying.
The rose scent is not added fragrance: it comes from Damask rose flower water and Rosa centifolia flower oil, both of which are functional ingredients in the formula. There is no separate perfume. If you are avoiding rose specifically, that distinction is the one that matters to you.

Is this a retinol cream?
No, and we would rather say so plainly. It contains retinyl palmitate, an ester of vitamin A that the skin has to convert before it does anything, and which is substantially milder than retinol. That makes it a reasonable choice if retinol has been too much for you, and the wrong choice if you were after retinol's strength.
Morning or night?
Either. Retinyl palmitate is mild enough for daytime use, but if you apply it in the morning, follow it with sunscreen — that holds for any vitamin A derivative.
Is it fragranced?
There is no added perfume in the formula. It does smell of rose, because it contains Damask rose flower water and Rosa centifolia flower oil, which are functional ingredients here rather than a fragrance blend. If you are avoiding rose specifically, that is the distinction that matters.
My skin is sensitive. Can I use it?
Possibly — the formula includes bisabolol and licorice root extract, which are there to be calming. But sensitivity is individual and this cream does contain a vitamin A derivative, so patch test first and start two or three times a week rather than daily.
Does this contain human-derived ingredients like the SCF serum?
No. The other La Sincia product we stock, the Aqua Gel Platinum SCF Serum, contains an extract of human adipose cell conditioned media, which is prohibited in EU and UK cosmetics. This cream does not contain anything of human origin — its INCI is above and you can check it.
