The manufacturer's own product copy names ceramide NP, hyaluronic acid, witch hazel, rosehip and mulberry extracts, squalane and glycyrrhizinate, none of which appear in the six-item list above, and a formula also needs a preservative system. FAQ
Does it really protect against blue light from screens?
We have removed that claim, and we would rather explain why than repeat it. SPF and PA are certified ratings with defined test methods — SPF measures UVB, PA measures UVA. There is no equivalent standard behind blue-light, infrared or pollution claims, so a number cannot be attached to them and no regulator verifies them. Titanium dioxide is a physical particle that does scatter some visible light, but 'scatters some' is not the same as 'protects from', and we are not going to sell you the gap between the two.
What does PA+++ actually mean?
It is the Japanese UVA rating, based on persistent pigment darkening. PA+ is the lowest and PA++++ the highest; PA+++ sits one step below the top and represents solid UVA protection. UVA is the wavelength most associated with skin ageing and it passes through window glass, which is why a PA rating matters even for someone who works indoors near a window.
Is SPF 30 enough?
For everyday life — commuting, office work, errands — yes, applied properly and reapplied. For a beach day, a hike, snow or anything with hours of direct sun, no: use SPF 50+. Honestly, an SPF 30 you apply generously every single morning will do more for your skin than an SPF 50 that sits unused in a drawer.
Will it leave a white cast?
The manufacturer says no, and a modern titanium dioxide gel is far better in this respect than mineral sunscreens used to be. That said, mineral filters are white pigments by nature, so if your skin is deep in tone, apply a little and check in daylight before committing to it as your everyday face sunscreen.
Can I use it on my children?
The manufacturer states the formula is designed to be suitable for children and for sensitive skin, and the absence of chemical filters, alcohol and synthetic fragrance supports that. For babies under six months, general guidance is to use shade and clothing rather than sunscreen — ask your paediatrician first.
