What this product is, and what we are no longer going to tell you it does
Our previous description of this gel called it a "warming gel for weight loss" and said the heat-generating components achieve "a weight loss effect". It also credited five plant extracts with anti-inflammatory action, skin regeneration, disinfection and accelerated healing. This is a cosmetic — 化粧品 under Japanese classification — and a cosmetic does not reduce body fat, does not disinfect and does not heal. Those sentences are gone.
What is left is worth having and is what the product was always for: a large-format, glycerin-based massage gel with a genuine capsicum warmth, used in Japanese salons for body massage. The heat is real, the slip is good, and 1500 g is a working quantity rather than a retail jar.

- Leave it while the warmth is comfortable, then rinse off with lukewarm water and a mild cleanser. Do not use hot water.
- Beauty Act does not publish a specified amount, duration or rinse instruction for this product. The procedure above is a conservative general one and we say so rather than presenting it as the maker's.
Frequency: As part of a massage routine, two or three times a week at most while your skin gets used to it.

Cautions
- Patch-test before the first full use. Apply a small amount to the inner forearm, leave it for 24 hours, and only continue if nothing happens. This is a capsicum product and skin tolerance varies a great deal.
- Keep away from eyes, lips, mucous membranes, and any broken, irritated or sunburned skin.
- Do not use immediately after shaving, waxing, epilation or a hot bath — warm, freshly-treated skin reacts much more strongly.
- Wash your hands thoroughly afterwards, and take care before touching your face or contact lenses.
- Do not cover the treated area with cling film, a wrap or a heated belt, and do not combine it with a heating device. Occlusion concentrates the effect in a way the product is not designed for.
- If the warmth becomes uncomfortable, remove the gel with plenty of lukewarm water and a mild cleanser. Do not use hot water, which makes it worse.
- Stop using it if redness, stinging, itching or swelling persists after removal, and seek advice if it does not settle.
- Not for children. External use only. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or under treatment for a skin or circulatory condition, ask your doctor first.
- Store away from direct sunlight and high temperature, and close the container firmly.

FAQ
Does this gel burn fat or help with weight loss?
No. Our previous description said it did, in its first sentence, and that was wrong. This is a cosmetic. It warms skin and makes massage easier; it does not act on body fat. If you see the same claim on another retailer's page, it is the same copy.
How strong is the warming sensation?
It varies with skin, area and how much you use. Typically it builds over a minute or two, peaks as a clear warmth rather than a burn, and fades over the following ten to twenty minutes. If it goes past comfortable, rinse with plenty of lukewarm water — not hot, which intensifies it.
Can I wrap the area afterwards?
Please don't. Cling film, a body wrap or a heated belt over a capsicum product concentrates the effect well beyond what the gel is designed for. Leave the skin open to the air.
