Two things to read before you buy. The formula contains royal jelly, a bee product that can cause serious allergic reactions in susceptible people. How to Use
- Use in the evening only, on cleansed skin.
- Apply one pump to a cotton pad or to clean fingertips.
- Sweep evenly over the face, avoiding the eye area, the corners of the nose and the lips.
- Wait a minute for it to settle, then continue with your usual serum and moisturiser.
- Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen the next morning, without exception.
Frequency: Start with two evenings a week. Increase only if your skin stays calm, and never use it twice in one day.

Cautions
- Contains royal jelly, a bee product. Royal jelly is a documented cause of serious allergic reactions, including asthma attacks and anaphylaxis. Do not use it if you are allergic to bee products, honey, propolis or pollen, or if you have asthma, without first speaking to your doctor.
- Fruit acids make skin more sensitive to sunlight. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen every day while using this product and for at least a week after you stop, and limit deliberate sun exposure.
- Evening use only. Do not use it in the morning before sun exposure.
- Do not combine in the same routine with other acid exfoliants, retinoids or benzoyl peroxide unless a dermatologist has advised it. Brief mild tingling on application can be normal; stinging, burning or lasting redness is not — rinse off and stop.
- Not vegan, as royal jelly is an animal-derived ingredient.
- Patch test on the inner forearm before first use, especially if your skin is reactive.
- Discontinue use and consult a doctor if redness, itching, swelling or persistent stinging occurs.
- Avoid contact with the eyes. If the product enters the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
- Do not apply to broken, sunburned or actively inflamed skin.
- Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.

FAQ
Why is the royal jelly warning so prominent?
Because it is the single most consequential fact about this formula and the original description did not mention it at all — it listed royal jelly purely as a benefit. Royal jelly is one of the bee products with well-documented reports of severe allergic reactions, including bronchospasm and anaphylaxis, and the risk is concentrated in people who already have asthma or allergies to bee products or pollen. Most people will use this lotion without any issue. But if you are in that group, this is not a product to try and see.
Do I really need sunscreen with it?
Yes, and this is not a legal formality. Alpha hydroxy acids thin the outermost layer of dead cells, which is exactly how they smooth texture — and that layer contributes to your skin's own resistance to UV. Using an acid exfoliant without daily sun protection tends to undo the visible benefit you are exfoliating for, and increases the chance of irritation and uneven tone. If you are not going to wear sunscreen daily, choose a different product.
How is this different from the Spa Treatment EX Peeling gel?
They exfoliate by different routes. This lotion uses fruit acids, which work chemically and stay on the skin. The EX Peeling gel is a rinse-off product you massage on and wash away. You would not normally use both on the same evening — pick one, and give your skin at least a couple of days between exfoliating sessions of any kind.
Is this product halal or suitable for vegans?
It is not vegan — royal jelly is a bee product. Royal jelly is generally regarded as permissible in halal terms, but the product carries no certification. The product carries no halal certification — Japanese domestic cosmetics are rarely certified — so if certification itself matters to you, this product does not have it.
