ADDICTION is the make-up artist brand run by KOSÉ Provision, and this is its 2026 base: a primer that goes on like a serum, flattens the look of pores by handling light rather than filling them, and holds foundation through a Japanese summer day.
The thing our own page used to leave out is on the front of the tube: SPF 38 PA+++. This primer is also a sunscreen. That changes how you use it — the sunscreen step and the primer step can be the same step on a normal day, and on a long day outdoors it still needs reapplying like any other SPF. Sebum-proof and waterproof, non-comedogenic tested, free from mineral oil, parabens and gluten, and unscented.

Who Is This For?

How to Use
- Finish your skincare and let it settle. This is the last skincare-adjacent step, not the first make-up one.
- Take a pea-sized amount for the whole face. It carries SPF 38, so a thin, mean layer costs you protection as well as blur.
- Press it over the pore-prone areas with the fingertips rather than rubbing it in.
- Give it half a minute to set before foundation.
- If you are outdoors for hours, reapply sun protection over the top during the day — a primer applied once in the morning is not a full day of SPF, whatever the number says.
Frequency: Daily, as the base step of a make-up routine. Reapply sun protection during long days outdoors as you would with any SPF product.

ADDICTION does not publish the full 全成分 for this primer on its product page, and we are not going to reconstruct one from category words. The complete list is printed on the carton; if you need it before ordering, message us and we will read it off the stock in hand.
What the maker does state: the product is unscented, and free from mineral oil, parabens and gluten. The blurring works optically — the film diffuses light across the pore rather than filling it.
Our previous version of this page listed "light-diffusing optical particles, silicone polymers, skincare-grade emollients, refined fragrance" as the ingredients. Those are not ingredients, and the fragrance is not in the product — ADDICTION declares it unscented. That line is gone.
Cautions
- For external use only. Avoid the eye area; if the product gets into the eyes, rinse at once with water or lukewarm water.
- Do not use on skin with wounds, swelling, eczema, sunburn or any other abnormality.
- Patch test before the first full-face use: apply a little to the inner forearm and leave it 24 hours.
- Stop using it and speak to a dermatologist if redness, swelling, itching, stinging or any other reaction appears during use or afterwards. Continuing can make it worse.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Close the pack after use and store away from direct sunlight, heat and damp.
- This product carries SPF 38 PA+++. Sun protection applied once in the morning wears off; reapply during a long day outdoors, and do not treat a primer as all-day protection.
- Non-comedogenic tested is a test result, not a guarantee. If your skin breaks out under bases, patch-test along the jaw first.
- Remove it properly at the end of the day. A waterproof, sebum-proof film is designed not to come off with water alone.

FAQ
Does it really have sun protection?
Yes — SPF 38 PA+++, and it is part of the product's registered name in Japan. Our page previously did not mention it at all, which was a real omission: it changes whether you need a separate sunscreen underneath on an ordinary day.
Can I skip my sunscreen if I use this?
On an ordinary indoor day, for most people, yes — that is what an SPF 38 PA+++ base is for. On a day outdoors, no: you would need to reapply, and reapplying a primer over make-up is awkward. Use a proper sunscreen underneath if you will be in the sun for hours.
Is it fragranced?
No. ADDICTION declares it unscented. Our earlier description mentioned a "refined fragrance" — that was wrong and has been removed.
Will it pill under foundation?
We are not going to promise that, because pilling depends on what is underneath it as much as on the primer. What helps: let your skincare absorb fully, use a pea-sized amount and give it thirty seconds to set. If a foundation still pills, it is usually a silicone-over-water-gel conflict rather than the primer alone.
Is it authentic, and how long does delivery take?
It is the Japan-domestic SKU, bought in Japan and shipped from our own stock in Kobe. Processing takes two to six business days and a tracking number follows dispatch; transit depends on the shipping method you choose at checkout.
