SC Beaute Premium is the salon-channel line from Amenity Corporation in Kochi, Japan. Two things run through every product in it: an extract of human adipocyte conditioned medium — the culture fluid in which human fat-derived cells were grown, not the cells themselves — and deep sea water drawn from about 344 metres down off the Muroto coast. The line is formulated without parabens, added fragrance or dyes. The essence is the booster step, applied straight after cleansing so the layers above it have something to sit on. It is the most heavily dosed product in the line: the signature extract alongside a growth-factor complex, peptides, retinol, hyaluronic acid, collagen, elastin, coenzyme Q10 and centella asiatica. Cautions

FAQ
What exactly is the "human stem cell" ingredient?
It is an extract of conditioned medium: human fat-derived cells are grown in a nutrient fluid, the cells are then removed, and what remains — the fluid, containing the proteins and sugars the cells released — is what goes into the product. There are no cells in the bottle. It is used as a cosmetic conditioning ingredient. It is not a medical or regenerative therapy, and no cosmetic in Japan or the EU may be sold as one.
Why does the essence go on before the lotion, not after?
Because in the Japanese sequence an essence is a booster, not a serum in the Western sense. It goes on damp skin straight after cleansing, and the lotion and cream then layer over it. If you apply it after the cream, the cream is in the way and you will get less out of it.
In what order do I use the SC Beaute Premium products?
Cleansing foam first, then the essence on clean damp skin, then the lotion, then the cream last to seal everything in. You do not need all four to use one — each works on its own — but if you own several, that is the order the line is designed around.
Is this product halal or suitable for vegans?
No to both, for two separate reasons: the formula contains collagen and elastin, which are animal-derived, and the signature ingredient is derived from human cell culture. The second point in particular is one many customers will want to take to their own religious authority. The product carries no halal certification — Japanese domestic cosmetics are rarely certified — so if certification itself matters to you, this product does not have it.
Will I pay customs duty or import VAT?
That depends on your country and on the declared value of the parcel, not on us.
