- Pour about 100 ml of cold or room-temperature water into a glass or shaker.
- Add the powder and stir or shake until no lumps remain. A shaker gives the cleanest result; barley-grass powder resists a spoon.
- Drink it straight away — the powder settles within a minute or two.
- Asahi also suggests milk, soy milk, yoghurt or apple juice in place of water.

Where is the barley grass grown?
Ōita Prefecture, on Kyushu. Asahi states that it is grown without pesticides or chemical fertiliser during the cultivation period. That is Asahi's claim about its own supply chain, not an organic certification, and we are not presenting it as one.
Why can't you show the ingredient list?

What does freeze-dried change?
Asahi's stated reason for using it is retention of flavour and nutrients compared with the alternative. It is the maker's rationale for a processing choice, not a health claim, and we are repeating it as such.
