How to Use

1. Take a very small amount — less than you think — on a clean fingertip or a small brush.
2. On bare or moisturised skin: tap it onto the apples of the cheeks and blend outward while it is still gel.
3. Over powder foundation: tap, do not sweep. Sweeping a cream over powder lifts the powder and leaves a patch. Build in two light taps rather than one heavy one.
4. Over liquid foundation: apply before you set with powder, not after — the cream has something to grip and the powder then locks both together.
5. Wait a few seconds for the gel to set before touching it again or layering anything on top.

Which shade should I start with?

05 Sweet Apricot or 24 Peach Mousse. Soft warm peaches are the most forgiving of the six and wear well across a wide range of skin tones. If your skin has clear pink undertones, 23 Cupid Pink reads more natural on you; if a bright pink looks costumey on you, 16 Almond Terracotta is the muted option and the best of the six on deeper skin.

It goes patchy over my foundation. What am I doing wrong?

Almost certainly sweeping instead of tapping. Dragging a cream across a powder finish lifts the powder and leaves a patch where the base has moved. Tap it on in two light passes instead of one heavy one. Over liquid foundation, apply the blush before you set with powder rather than after.

Does it work on bare skin?

Yes, and that is arguably where it looks best — the gel melts straight into skin and the flush reads as though it is coming from underneath. Moisturise first; on very dry skin a cream blush can cling to flaky patches.

How is this different from CANMAKE's Matte and Glow versions?

Texture and finish, not colour range. Cream Cheek is the original gel-to-dry formula. The Matte version sets flatter with no sheen, and the Glow version keeps more light in the finish. If you have used one and want the same shade in a different feel, they are not interchangeable — check which line you are ordering.

Is it hygienic to use a pot product with fingers?

It is, as long as your hands are clean each time and you do not share the pot. A pot applied with fingers picks up whatever is on them and holds it against your face at every subsequent use. If you would rather not, a small synthetic brush works well with this texture.
