How to Use
- Cleanse and apply your toner or lotion step first.
- Follow with any serum, and let it settle for a moment.
- Take a pearl-sized amount of cream on the fingertips and warm it briefly.
- Press it over the face from the centre outwards, then the neck. Press rather than rub — a rich cream spread by dragging tugs at the skin.
- Use less around the eyes than you think you need, and keep it off the lash line.
Frequency: Every evening as the final skincare step. It is designed as a night cream, not a day cream, and it contains no sun filters.

FAQ
What do liposomes actually do that a normal cream does not?
A liposome is a tiny sphere with a phospholipid shell — the same class of molecule cell membranes are made from — that can hold both oil-soluble and water-soluble ingredients inside it. Two things follow. Fragile ingredients are protected from oxidising in the jar, and the shell has to break down before the contents are released, so delivery is spread out instead of arriving all at once. Both are real formulation advantages. What liposomes do not do is carry ingredients into living tissue or change what those ingredients are capable of: a peptide in a liposome is still a peptide.
Why is this more expensive here than in Japan?
It should not be by much, and we would rather flag it than let you find out. Kose's Japanese list price for the 50 g jar sits in the region of 11,550 to 12,100 yen. If the price on this page is materially above that, it reflects sourcing and handling rather than anything about the product — and it is a fair thing to ask us about before ordering. Message us and we will tell you what we paid and what we can do.
Can I use this in the morning too?
You can, but it is not what it is for and it will cost you twice as fast. This is formulated as the last step of an evening routine: it is rich, it takes time to settle, and it contains no sun filters, so it does nothing about the single largest driver of visible ageing. If you want a rich cream in the daytime, use a lighter moisturiser and put a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher on top of it. Save this for the night, when your skin is not competing with makeup or sunlight.
The packaging is in Japanese — how do I know what I am using?
The carton and bottle carry Japanese-language labelling, because this is stock made for the Japanese domestic market. Where an ingredient list appears on this page, it is translated from that labelling or from the manufacturer's own published data; where the manufacturer does not publish one, the ingredients section says so rather than filling the gap. Either way, send us a photo of anything unclear on the box after delivery and we will translate it, and ask us before ordering if you need the full label list first.
Will I pay customs duty or import VAT?
That depends on your country and on the declared value of the parcel, not on us. We ship from Japan with a correct customs declaration and full tracking; any duty or import VAT your country charges is collected by your local carrier or customs office on delivery.
