Description
ETVOS Mineral UV Aqua Serum SPF35 PA+++ — Tone-up White, 30 g
Overview
ETVOS built its reputation on mineral makeup you can sleep in and on ceramide skincare, and this product is the two ideas in one tube. It is a sunscreen that reads as a serum: mineral filters only, SPF35 PA+++, and a genuine skincare payload behind them.
The payload is worth spelling out because most sunscreens claiming ceramides contain one. This contains five human-type ceramides — EOP, NG, NP, AG and AP — plus niacinamide, sodium hyaluronate, squalane, tremella polysaccharide and water-soluble proteoglycan. It also carries xanthophyll (lutein) and cornflower extract, the antioxidant pair ETVOS uses for its light-exposure claims.
One thing to be clear about before you buy, because it is easy to read past in the title: Tone-up White is a shade, not a marketing word. See the FAQ. It washes off with ordinary facial soap. Browse the full Japanese sunscreen collection.

Who Is This For?
- Anyone who wants a sunscreen that earns its place as a skincare step, not just a layer on top of one
- Dehydrated or barrier-compromised skin — five ceramides plus niacinamide is a serum formula, not a sunscreen with a garnish
- People who dislike the weight of mineral sunscreen: this is a fluid, closer to an essence than a cream
- Anyone who wants a soft brightening effect — Tone-up White is a tinted shade and will lift the complexion slightly
- Not for you if you want a completely untinted finish, or if you need SPF50+ for extended outdoor time.
How to Use
- After your skincare, dispense about a pearl-sized amount.
- Warm it briefly between the fingertips — a fluid this thin spreads better warm.
- Spread evenly over the face as the final step of your morning routine, before makeup.
- Reapply during strong sun exposure and after sweating or towel-drying.
- Remove with your usual facial soap or cleanser at the end of the day.
Frequency: Daily. Reapply every 2–3 hours during strong sun exposure. No dedicated remover needed.
Full Ingredients
Ingredient list:
Water, Propanediol, Glycerin, Titanium Dioxide, Squalane, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Pentylene Glycol, Isopropyl Lauroyl Sarcosine, Xanthophyll, Ethyl 2,4-Dicarboethoxypantothenate, Ceramide EOP, Ceramide NG, Ceramide NP, Ceramide AG, Ceramide AP, Niacinamide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tremella Fuciformis Polysaccharide, Water-Soluble Proteoglycan, Centaurea Cyanus Flower Extract, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Zinc Oxide.
Two observations from the order. Titanium dioxide is fourth and zinc oxide is last — so the mineral protection here is overwhelmingly titanium dioxide, with zinc oxide in a supporting role. That is consistent with SPF35 PA+++ rather than SPF50+, and it is part of why the texture is this light.
Second, the ceramides are real and there are five of them: Ceramide EOP, NG, NP, AG and AP, sitting together in the middle of the list alongside niacinamide. Xanthophyll (lutein) and Centaurea cyanus (cornflower) flower extract are the antioxidant pair.
No fragrance appears in this list. The complete declaration is on the Japanese carton; email support@tsujimotomarket.com if you need it photographed before ordering.
Cautions
- For external use only. Discontinue if redness, itching, or irritation appears.
- Avoid contact with the eyes; rinse with cool water if contact occurs.
- Do not apply to broken, swollen or irritated skin.
- Patch-test before first use.

- Tone-up White is a tinted shade. If you want a colourless sunscreen, this is not it.

FAQ
What does “Tone-up White” actually mean — is it a shade?
Yes. Tone-up White is a tinted shade that lifts the complexion with a soft brightness. It is not a heavy white cast, but it is not colourless either. ETVOS sells the same serum in other shades if you want a different finish.
Five ceramides — is that meaningful or is it a number on a box?
Meaningful. Skin's own barrier uses several ceramide classes, and formulations that include a spread of them rather than one are closer to what the barrier is made of. EOP, NG, NP, AG and AP appear together in the middle of this list, before niacinamide — a working position, not a trace.
Why only SPF35 when other mineral sunscreens reach SPF50+?
Look at the ingredient order: titanium dioxide is fourth and zinc oxide last. A lighter mineral load gives a serum texture and SPF35 PA+++. If you need SPF50+ in a non-chemical formula, the NOV UV Shield EX or the MINON UV Mild Milk are the ones to take.
Do I need an oil cleanser or a special remover?
No. It is designed to come off with ordinary facial soap or your usual cleanser. That is one of the practical advantages of a mineral filter over a water-resistant chemical film.
Is it authentic, and where does it ship from?
Yes. We buy ETVOS in Japan through retail and authorised distribution and ship it from our own stock in Kobe, with tracking. The box and label are Japanese; the English is on this page.
