An insulated round case for carrying a COOLOOP neck ring while it is not being worn. Aluminised film inside, polyester outside, a double mesh layer, and a supplied gel coolant pack. Cogit's figure is up to eight hours: long enough that a ring frozen at breakfast is still solid at the end of the working day.
This is the large case: 20 cm across, 6 cm deep, 247 g. It takes two standard COOLOOP rings, or one wide ring. If you have the Wide ring, count it as one.

How to Use
- Freeze the supplied gel coolant pack.
- Set the neck ring solid, in a freezer, a fridge, ice water, or simply anywhere below 28 °C.
- Put the frozen coolant pack and the ring into the case and close it.
- Keep it closed. Every opening costs cold; the eight-hour figure assumes a shut case.
- Wipe the lining dry after use and store the case open so it airs.
Frequency: Daily use is fine. Nothing in the case is consumed by use.

CMC-Na is a cellulose thickener, the same material used to thicken food and toothpaste. It is what turns the water in the pack into a gel so it freezes as a slab rather than sloshing. It is not a refrigerant gas and there is no chemical reaction involved.
No fragrance. No batteries. Nothing to charge.
Cautions
- Keep the gel coolant pack sealed. If it splits, dispose of it; the gel is not intended for skin, eyes or mouth.
- Do not machine-wash or tumble-dry the case. The aluminised lining is a film and will delaminate.
- Do not use it to keep food or medicine cold. It is not designed or tested for that.
- Do not put the case or the coolant pack in a microwave or in boiling water.
- Let the lining dry before closing the case for storage, or it will smell.
- Keep the frozen coolant pack away from bare skin; direct contact with a frozen gel pack can cause a cold burn.
- Keep packaging film away from children.
- The case insulates. It does not cool: a warm ring put inside stays warm.

FAQ
Will my wide ring fit, and does it count as one or two?
The wide ring fits and counts as one. The case holds either two standard COOLOOP rings or one wide ring — the wide is 14 × 16 cm and 4.7 cm thick, and it fills the case on its own.
Does the ring need to be frozen before it goes in?
Yes. The case is insulation, not a freezer: it slows the ring warming up, it cannot cool a warm one down. Freeze the ring, freeze the coolant pack, then put both in the closed case.
Is eight hours realistic?
It is the maker's figure and it assumes the supplied coolant pack is frozen and the case stays shut. Opened every twenty minutes in 35 °C air, it will be considerably less. Treat eight hours as the best case, not the average.
What is CMC-Na and is it safe next to my lunch?
Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, a cellulose thickener also used as a food thickener. It is in the sealed coolant pack to gel the water. Keep the pack intact; it is not intended to be eaten, but it is not a hazardous chemical.
Can I wash it?
Wipe the lining and the outer fabric with a damp cloth and let it dry open. Do not machine-wash it and do not tumble-dry it — the aluminised lining is a film and will crease and delaminate.
