Cautions

- The previous description called this emulsion oil-free. The declared list contains tri(caprylic/capric) glyceryl and an olefin oligomer, both of which are emollient oils in the cosmetic sense, so we have removed that claim. What is true is that it contains no mineral oil.
- This is a moisturising product with no sun filters — it does not protect skin from UV. Apply sunscreen separately in the morning.
- Contains dilauroyl glutamate (phytosteryl/octyldodecyl) — a plant-sterol emollient that is commonly soy-derived. Manufacturers do not always declare the botanical source, so if you have a diagnosed soy allergy, patch test and treat the source as unconfirmed.
- Rohto states the product has been patch-tested with the cooperation of people with sensitive skin. That is a manufacturer test on a panel, not a guarantee that no one will react — do your own patch test first.

140 ml. That is the size Rohto lists for this product and the size printed on the bottle. The number in the web address is a legacy error from an earlier catalogue entry; we have left the address alone because changing it would break existing links, and flagged it internally.
Do I still need the cream if I use this?
In a humid summer, usually not — emulsion over lotion is a complete routine for most skin. In a dry heated room in winter, or if your skin is dry to begin with, the cream adds an occlusive layer the emulsion alone does not provide. Judge by whether your face feels tight two hours later, not by the season on the calendar.
What is the correct order for the Gokujyun products?
