Description
Nagatanien Hiruge — Freeze-Dried Red Miso Soup, 8 Servings
Overview
Hiruge is the red-miso sibling of Nagatanien’s famous freeze-dried soup family (Asage for morning, Hiruge for midday). Red miso is fermented longer, giving the soup a deeper, bolder, more savory character than the mild mixed type.
Like Asage, the miso is freeze-dried to protect its aroma, and each of the 8 sachets includes wakame seaweed, fu and green onion. Hot water, a quick stir — done.

FAQ
What is the difference between Hiruge and Asage?
Asage (“morning”) uses a mild mixed rice miso; Hiruge (“midday”) leans on red miso for a deeper, bolder taste. Same freeze-dried quality and the same wakame-fu-onion trio inside.
Is red miso saltier?
Red miso tastes more intense and savory; its salt content is in the same range as other miso soups, but the flavor feels stronger. If you prefer a lighter cup, use slightly more water.
Is it vegetarian?
No — like most traditional Japanese miso soups, the dashi contains dried mackerel (fish) powder. Not suitable for strict vegetarians.
Is this the real Japanese version?
Yes — we sell the Japanese domestic release bought from regular retail channels in Japan, not an export or licensed copy made elsewhere. We are based in Kobe and ship from Japan.
How long does delivery take, and will there be customs fees?
We dispatch from Kobe within 2–6 business days and provide tracking. Delivery time and possible import duties depend on your country; any customs fees are charged by your local authorities.
