Description
JisuLife Handheld Fan 9 S — 27,000 rpm, 10 m/s, 5000 mAh, USB-C
Overview
The JisuLife Handheld Fan 9 S is a palm-sized fan built around JISULIFE's third-generation motor: 27,000 rpm driving a nine-blade turbine, for a measured 10 m/s of airflow out of a body 123 mm tall and 180 g in weight. The 5000 mAh cell runs it for 22 hours at the lowest of five speeds and about three at the highest, and an LED screen shows the speed level and the battery percentage while it does.
It is the stronger of the two JisuLife fans we stock, not the weaker one — see the comparison in the FAQ below before choosing between this and the Handheld Fan 10 S. More from our Japanese summer cooling range.

Who Is This For?
- Commuters and students who want real airflow from something that fits a jacket pocket
- Anyone choosing on strength rather than endurance — this is the 10 m/s model
- Travellers: 180 g, and it charges from the same USB-C brick as a phone
- Not the right pick if you want a desk fan — there is no stand, and it is held or hung by its lanyard
- Not the right pick if you need quiet: 60–89 dB, and the top speed is loud
How to Use
- Charge fully over USB-C before first use — 3 to 4 hours from any 5 V adapter. The fan does not support fast charging.
- Press the power button to start; press again to step through the five speeds.
- Read the LED display for the current speed and the remaining battery percentage.
- Engage the safety switch before putting the fan in a bag so it cannot start on its own.
- Use the lanyard to carry it on the wrist or hang it when you are not holding it.
Frequency: As needed. A full charge gives 22 hours at speed 1 or about 3 hours at speed 5.
Materials & Construction
Housing: ABS. Motor: three-phase brushless, rated by JisuLife at 27,000 rpm, driving a nine-blade turbine behind a fixed guard. Power source: a built-in 5000 mAh lithium-ion cell, not user-replaceable. Charging port: USB-C.
Specification as published by JisuLife on its official product page for model FHL09S.
Cautions
- Do not put fingers or objects through the guard while the blade is turning, and keep hair and loose clothing clear.
- Built-in lithium battery: aircraft carry-on only, never in checked baggage.
- Charge from a compliant 5 V USB-C source. No Japanese wall adapter is supplied and none is needed — there is no 100 V / 230 V question with USB-C.
- Keep away from water and do not operate with wet hands.
- Do not disassemble. The cell is sealed in and is not user-replaceable; at end of life the fan goes to electrical recycling, not household waste.
- Heat is what shortens a lithium cell's life — do not leave the fan in a closed car or in direct sun.
- Keep out of reach of young children.

FAQ
Is the 9 S weaker than the 10 S because it is smaller?
No — it is the stronger of the two. JisuLife rates the 9 S at 10 m/s from a 27,000 rpm motor and the 10 S at 6.0 m/s from 7,500 rpm. Both carry the same 5000 mAh cell; the 10 S simply runs longer on it (28 hours against 22) because its motor is slower. The choice is airflow against runtime, not big against small.
How long does the battery actually last?
22 hours is the figure at speed 1, the lowest of the five. At speed 5 it is about 3 hours. A full charge takes 3 to 4 hours over USB-C, and the fan does not support fast charging, so plan on charging it overnight rather than in a break.
Can I stand it on a desk?
Not as designed — there is no stand, and JisuLife does not list one. It is held in the hand or hung from the supplied lanyard. If you want something to leave standing on a desk, this is not the product.
How loud is it?
JisuLife publishes 60 to 89 dB across the five speeds. The low speeds are unobtrusive; speed 5 is genuinely loud and is meant for short bursts outdoors rather than for a quiet office.
Is it made in Japan?
No. JisuLife is a Chinese brand based in Shenzhen and the fan is made in China. We hold Japanese-market stock and ship it from Kobe with tracking, and what we guarantee is that the unit is a genuine JisuLife rather than a copy.
