How to Use
- Do this after eyeshadow and before mascara. Liner over powder holds; powder over liner lifts it.
- Rest your elbow on a hard surface and pull the outer corner of the lid gently taut with the other hand. Almost every wobbly line is an unsupported arm rather than an unsteady hand.
- Draw in short dashes along the lash line, from the middle outward, then join them. A single long stroke is much harder and there is no prize for it.
- Let it dry fully before blinking hard or applying mascara. If the tip has dried out, wipe it on a tissue and prime it — never add water or remover to the pen.

Cautions
- Do not use on eyes that are irritated, infected or recovering from a procedure
- Avoid contact with the eyes; if the product gets in, rinse immediately with plenty of water
- Remove eye makeup before sleeping. Sleeping in it is the most reliable way to lose lashes and irritate the lid margin
- Replace an opened eye product after about three months. Eye cosmetics pick up bacteria from the lash line and no preservative system outlasts that indefinitely
- Do not share eye makeup, and do not add water or any other liquid to thin a product that has dried
- Stop using it if redness, itching, swelling or stinging appears, and see a doctor if it does not settle
- Try a small amount on the inner forearm before the first full use, especially if your skin reacts easily
- Keep out of reach of children

Which KATE liner is this exactly? Is it the Super Sharp Liner?
We are not going to say, because our record does not tell us and we have not verified it. KATE makes several liquid liners and they differ in tip and staying power. The line name is printed on the pen you receive. If you specifically want a named KATE liner, ask us before ordering and we will check the stock rather than guess on the page.
Is it waterproof?
We do not know and we will not claim it. Waterproof is a specific property with a specific removal requirement, and stating it wrongly means somebody scrubs at their eye with a water-based remover or, worse, assumes a non-waterproof liner will survive a hot day. Treat it as not waterproof unless the pack says otherwise, and check the pack when it arrives.
How do I take it off?
A dedicated eye-makeup remover on a cotton pad, held against the closed lid for ten seconds before you wipe. The holding is the part people skip. Never drag: the skin at the lash line is the thinnest on the body and lashes come out easily.
The tip has dried out. Can I add water?
No. Water dilutes the pigment, breaks the film former and turns a working liner into a grey smudge — and it introduces bacteria into a product that goes on the lash line. Wipe the tip on a tissue and work it a little; if that fails, the pen is finished.
Can I use it on the waterline?
This is a liquid liner, so no. Liquid formulas are not made for the inner rim, they migrate into the eye and they irritate. If you want a waterline product, that is a kohl or a gel pencil, and it is a different purchase.
