Description

Kor Japan The Exosome Eye Sheet, 60 Patches

Overview

These are Japanese eye patches soaked in a dense serum built around three ingredients that have all had a moment in Japanese skincare at once: exosomes from human adipose cell culture, NMN, and a stem-cell conditioned medium extract. Alongside them sit niacinamide, a retinol ester and a stable vitamin C ester. The patches are designed for the under-eye area, the nasolabial folds and the front of the neck. See also our Japanese eye care.

Key Benefits

  • ✓ Rich, heavily loaded serum — the patch holds it against the skin instead of it evaporating
  • ✓ Niacinamide, among the better-evidenced ingredients for barrier support and even tone
  • ✓ Vitamin C ester and a retinol ester for a smoother, more even-looking surface over time
  • ✓ Squalane, panthenol and allantoin for a comfortable finish on thin under-eye skin
  • ✓ 60 patches per pack — enough for a sustained routine rather than a one-off
  • ✓ Usable on the under-eye area, nasolabial folds and the front of the neck

Who Is This For?

  • Under-eye skin that looks dry, creased or tired
  • Anyone who wants a targeted step that works while they do something else
  • Mature skin building a routine around the eye area
  • NOT for anyone with a peanut allergy — see Cautions first

How to Use

  1. Cleanse and apply your toner, then let the skin dry
  2. Take out a patch with clean, dry hands
  3. Place it over the under-eye area, nasolabial fold or neck
  4. Smooth it down from the centre so it lies flat with no air pockets
  5. Remove after the time on the pack and pat in what is left, then continue your routine

Frequency: Two or three times a week, or daily on a short course if your skin tolerates it

Ingredient list as declared by the manufacturer. Formulations are occasionally revised, so always read the list printed on the package you receive.

Cautions

  • Patch test on the inner forearm before first use, especially if your skin is reactive.
  • Discontinue use and consult a doctor if redness, itching, swelling or persistent stinging occurs.
  • Avoid contact with the eyes. If the product enters the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
  • Do not apply to broken, sunburned or actively inflamed skin.
  • Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.
  • ALLERGEN: the declared ingredient list includes peanut oil. Do not use this product if you have a peanut allergy. This matters more than usual here because the patches are worn under the eyes for extended periods, often overnight.
  • Contains ingredients derived from human cell culture (adipose-derived exosomes and adipocyte conditioned medium extract) — worth knowing if you choose products on religious or ethical grounds.
  • Contains a retinol-type ingredient: use sunscreen during the day and avoid it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless your doctor agrees.
  • Contains animal-derived ingredients — not suitable for vegans.
  • The formula includes a paraben preservative — worth knowing if you prefer paraben-free skincare.
  • The skin under the eyes is the thinnest on the face. Remove patches slowly and never drag them off, and stop at once if the area stings.
  • Exosome and NMN skincare is early-stage. Both are legitimate research subjects, but the evidence for what a topical cosmetic version does to skin appearance is thin. Buy it as a rich, well-formulated eye patch and treat anything beyond that as unproven.

FAQ

What are exosomes, in plain terms?

Exosomes are tiny vesicles that cells release, carrying proteins and genetic material, and in the body they are one of the ways cells signal to each other. In a cosmetic they are a conditioning ingredient sourced from cell culture. Whether topically applied exosomes do anything meaningful through intact skin is an open research question, not a settled one — this is a cosmetic patch, not a regenerative treatment.

What is NMN doing in a skincare product?

NMN, nicotinamide mononucleotide, is best known as an oral supplement ingredient in the longevity field. In a topical formula it behaves largely as a humectant and skin-conditioning agent, related chemically to niacinamide. Note that the formula also contains niacinamide itself, which has a far stronger evidence base for skin.

Can I wear them overnight?

Check the time stated on your pack and follow it. Longer is not better with a heavily loaded serum on under-eye skin, and a patch that dries out on the face starts to work against you. If a patch stings, or the area looks pink after removal, cut the wear time or stop.

Is this product halal or suitable for vegans?

No to both, for two separate reasons: the formula contains hydrolysed collagen, which is animal-derived, and the exosome and conditioned-medium ingredients are derived from human cell culture. The second is a question many customers will want to take to their own religious authority. The product carries no halal certification — Japanese domestic cosmetics are rarely certified — so if certification itself matters to you, this product does not have it.

Will I pay customs duty or import VAT?

That depends on your country and on the declared value of the parcel, not on us. We ship from Japan with a correct customs declaration and full tracking; any duty or import VAT your country charges is collected by your local carrier or customs office on delivery. Check your national de-minimis threshold before ordering if you want to avoid a surprise.
