How to Use
- Apply to clean, dry hands — after washing rather than before, since washing takes it off.

Our previous page listed tranexamic acid, hyaluronic acid, petrolatum and tocopherol together under the heading "active ingredients", with tocopherol credited for "rejuvenation". Three of those four are not actives, and rejuvenation is not an approved effect for any of them. Corrected here.

Cautions

FAQ
Will it fade the spots I already have?
The approval this cream holds is for preventing new spots by suppressing melanin formation, not for removing existing ones, and we are not going to claim otherwise. If existing pigmentation is your concern, that is a conversation with a dermatologist, and any product that promises to erase it deserves scepticism.
Does it need sunscreen alongside it?
Yes, and this is the part people leave out. Melanin formation is driven by UV. A cream that suppresses that process while the hands go on getting an unprotected UV dose every day is fighting an argument it cannot win. Hands are the second most sun-exposed part of most people and the least protected.
Our old page listed four active ingredients. Which is right?
One: tranexamic acid. Hydrolysed hyaluronic acid, petrolatum and tocopherol are other ingredients, not declared actives, and "rejuvenation" is not an approved effect for any of them. The old list read as though the cream had four approved functions. It has one.
Which variant will I receive?
KOSÉ makes this cream in several variants — Deep Moisture, a peach-scented one, a moist gel — differing in texture and scent. Is it greasy?
It has three occlusive oils and petrolatum, so it is on the richer side of the hand-cream range — that is what makes it survive a hand-wash. Use a pea-sized amount rather than a squeeze; the film people complain about is almost always a dosage problem.
