Overview
KOSÉ's Make Keep line exists for one Japanese problem: make-up and 35 °C at 80 per cent humidity. This is the Summer 2026 limited edition of the EX powder, the 「衝撃の超冷感」 — "shockingly cold" — version, sold in a 5 g compact with a puff.
Three things it does, in KOSÉ's own description. It carries a faint blue tint with fine pearl, which counteracts sallowness rather than adding coverage. It carries oil-control powder coated with the Super Make Coat ingredient from Make Keep Mist EX+, for water- and sebum-resistance. And spherical powders cover the unevenness around pores and keep the surface dry to the touch. The scent is lemon mint.
It is a limited seasonal edition, which is worth knowing before you get attached to it: when it is gone from Japan, it is gone.

Who Is This For?
- Anyone whose make-up has to survive a commute in July. This is a summer product built for a specific climate, and it is at its best in that climate.
- Oily and combination skin that needs a touch-up powder in a bag rather than a full compact.
- People who like a cool sensation on the face — it is the point of this edition, and it is brief.
- Not for anyone avoiding fragrance: this one is scented, lemon mint, and the scent is part of the product.
- Not for very dry skin in winter. An oil-absorbing, mattifying powder on skin that is already tight will emphasise every flake.
How to Use
- Use it over liquid foundation, concealer and any cream products, as the last step.
- Tap the puff into the powder and knock the excess off against the rim before it goes near your face.
- Press it on — T-zone, chin, sides of the nose — rather than sweeping it, which moves the foundation underneath.
- For a touch-up later, blot the shine off first with a blotting paper, then press the powder on. Powder over oil cakes; powder over blotted skin does not.
- Wash the puff regularly, especially in summer. A puff used daily on a warm face is not a clean object after a week.
Frequency: As the setting step of a daily routine, and again for touch-ups. A 5 g compact used daily is a season, not a year.

KOSÉ does not publish the full 全成分 for this limited edition online. The complete list is printed on the pack; if you need it before ordering, message us and we will read it off the stock in hand.
What KOSÉ does describe: oil-absorbing powder coated with the Super Make Coat ingredient used in Make Keep Mist EX+, spherical powders for the pore-texture effect, a faint blue tint with fine pearl, and a lemon-mint fragrance.
A correction to our own earlier page. It stated that the cooling comes from "the mineral powder blend itself — no menthol or alcohol, no irritation for sensitive skin". KOSÉ publishes no such statement. It names a 「ひんやり成分」, a cooling ingredient, without saying what it is, and it gives the product a mint scent. We are not able to tell you that this product is menthol-free, so we no longer say it. If a cooling agent is something you react to, read the pack before use or ask us to read it for you.
Cautions
- For external use only. Avoid the eye area; if the product gets into the eyes, rinse at once with water or lukewarm water.
- Do not use on skin with wounds, swelling, eczema, sunburn or any other abnormality.
- Patch test before the first full-face use: apply a little to the inner forearm and leave it 24 hours.
- Stop using it and speak to a dermatologist if redness, swelling, itching, stinging or any other reaction appears during use or afterwards. Continuing can make it worse.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Close the pack after use and store away from direct sunlight, heat and damp.
- This is a scented product (lemon mint). If you avoid fragrance, this is not the powder to buy.
- We cannot confirm what produces the cooling sensation. If you react to cooling agents or to mint, read the pack before use.
- Avoid inhaling loose powder. Knock the excess off the puff before it reaches your face, and keep it away from small children.
- Limited edition: when the Japanese stock is gone it will not be reordered. Buy accordingly rather than treating it as a staple.

FAQ
Is the cooling from menthol?
We do not know, and neither does any page that tells you otherwise. KOSÉ names a cooling ingredient without identifying it, and gives the powder a mint scent. Our own earlier description said there was no menthol; we could not support that and have removed it. If this matters for your skin, the pack carries the full list and we will read it for you before you order.
How long does the cool feeling last?
Seconds, not hours. It is a sensation on application, strongest when the face is warm — which is exactly when you reach for it. Treat it as a pleasant part of a touch-up rather than as a cooling treatment.
Will the blue tint show on my skin?
It is a tint, not a coverage shade — a faint blue with fine pearl, meant to counteract sallowness. On most skin tones it disappears into the finish. On very deep skin tones a blue-white powder can flash back in photographs; apply it sparingly and check in daylight first.
Is it the same as the regular Make Keep Powder EX?
No. This is the Summer 2026 COOL limited edition, with the cooling sensation, the blue pearl tint and the lemon-mint scent. The standard EX powder is a permanent product.
Is it authentic, and how long does delivery take?
It is the Japan-domestic SKU, bought in Japan and shipped from our own stock in Kobe. Processing takes two to six business days and a tracking number follows dispatch; transit depends on the shipping method you choose at checkout.
