Description
MINON UV Mild Milk SPF50+ PA++++ 80 ml
Overview
MINON is Daiichi Sankyo Healthcare's sensitive-skin line, built on amino acids rather than ceramides. This sunscreen carries the highest everyday ratings — SPF50+ PA++++ — with mineral filters only, and is registered in Japan as a 医薬部外品 (quasi-drug) on the strength of its soothing active, dipotassium glycyrrhizate.
Getting a non-chemical formula to SPF50+ PA++++ without turning stiff and white is the hard part, and MINON does it while remaining waterproof and cleared for use from six months of age. That combination — top rating, no UV absorbers, no fragrance, no alcohol, no parabens, no colourants, and safe for an infant — is why it tends to be the sunscreen Japanese dermatologists name when a whole family needs one tube.
A note on the name: the Japanese label reads ミノンUVマイルドミルク — see the FAQ. Browse the full Japanese sunscreen collection.

Who Is This For?
- Families who want one tube covering a six-month-old, an older child and an adult
- Sensitive skin that needs the top rating but cannot tolerate chemical filters
- Anyone who reacts to fragrance, alcohol or parabens — all three are excluded
- Skin prone to roughness after sun, which is what the dipotassium glycyrrhizate is approved for
- Also usable as a makeup base, so it does not have to be a separate step.
How to Use
- Shake well before use.
- Apply an even amount to the face and body as the final step of your morning routine.
- On a child, apply it yourself and keep it away from eyes, mouth and hands.
- Reapply through the day and after sweating, swimming or towel-drying.
- Remove with soap and water or your usual cleanser — no dedicated remover needed despite the waterproof film.
Frequency: Daily. Reapply every 2–3 hours of sun exposure and after water contact.
Full Ingredients
The UV filters are zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, with no chemical absorber. The quasi-drug active is dipotassium glycyrrhizate. The barrier ingredients MINON builds the line around are its Self-Protection Lipid (SPL), amino-acid-derived ceramide-like components and bioglycogen. Daiichi Sankyo Healthcare declares the formula free of UV absorbers, parabens, alcohol, fragrance and colourants, and allergy-tested.
The complete declaration is printed in Japanese on the carton. We are not reproducing a partial or retailer-assembled list here: this product is chosen by people managing an allergy or dressing an infant, and for them a list that might be missing an entry is worse than none. If you need the full panel before ordering, email support@tsujimotomarket.com and we will photograph it from stock.

FAQ
Is this the “Amino Moist” product? The names do not quite match.
The Japanese carton reads ミノンUVマイルドミルク — MINON UV Mild Milk. Amino Moist is the name of MINON's skincare line, and this sunscreen is generally shelved alongside it, which is how the two names got joined together. Our own title and URL still carry "Amino Moist" for historical reasons; the product you receive is the one on the label.
Can I really use it on a six-month-old?
Daiichi Sankyo Healthcare states it is suitable for sensitive skin of all ages from six months. Patch-test a small area first, apply it yourself, and keep it off the hands of a baby who puts them in their mouth.
It is waterproof — do I need a special remover?
No. Soap and water or your usual cleanser is enough. That is one of the practical advantages of a mineral film over a chemical one.
What does “medicated” or “quasi-drug” mean?
In Japan a 医薬部外品 sits between a cosmetic and a medicine: it contains an approved active at a set concentration and may make a narrow, pre-approved claim. It is not a medicine and treats nothing. A few countries restrict quasi-drug imports, so check your local rules before ordering.
Is it authentic, and where does it ship from?
Yes. We buy MINON in Japan through retail and authorised distribution and ship it from our own stock in Kobe, with tracking. The box and label are Japanese; the English is on this page.
