It said the handle makes the tooth surface positively charged; the maker's own material describes the brush as generating negative ions, which is also what the same paragraph implied two sentences later — the page contradicted itself. And it called titanium dioxide "a space-age metal". Titanium dioxide is a ceramic oxide, not a metal.
What we removed, and why you should know it was there. The previous description told you that by buying an ionic toothbrush you could perform electrophoresis, galvanisation and acupuncture therapy at home, and that this would produce "reduction of inflammatory processes in the mouth, elimination of gum bleeding, and pain relief". None of that belongs on a toothbrush head. Bleeding gums are a sign of gum inflammation and a reason to see a dentist, not something to treat with a brush handle. It also said ion brushes "clean teeth beautifully even without toothpaste" — brushing without fluoride toothpaste removes the anti-cavity part of your routine, and we are not going to suggest it.
How often to change the head — the question a refill listing ought to answer and never did. Roughly every three months, and sooner if the bristles have splayed outwards or lost their taper. A splayed head does not just clean less well; it stops meeting the gum margin at the right angle, which is exactly where you need it. Change it after any illness involving the mouth or throat as well. Two heads in a box is therefore about six months for one person.

How to Use
- Check first that you own a KISS YOU ionic handle. These heads do not fit an ordinary toothbrush and do not work without one.
- Pull the old head straight off the handle; push the new one on until it seats. No tools.
- Wet the bristles, apply fluoride toothpaste, and hold the metal panel on the handle with bare skin — the circuit closes through your hand, so it will not work through a glove.
- Brush for two minutes at a gentle angle into the gum line. Pressure is not what cleans; contact and time are.
- Rinse the head, shake it out and stand it up to dry. Do not store a wet head in a closed case.
