How to Use

- Squeeze out a small amount and spread a thin film — underarms, and the neck or behind the ears if that is where you notice it.
- Let it dry before dressing.
- Wash it off at the end of the day with ordinary soap or body wash.

FAQ
Why does it have three active ingredients when most deodorants have one?
Because it is aimed at two problems at once. The two bactericides — benzalkonium chloride and IPMP — work on the skin bacteria that turn sweat into smell, by different mechanisms. The aluminium chlorohydrate reduces how much sweat reaches the surface in the first place. A product with only a bactericide masks nothing but stops the smell forming; a product with only the salt keeps you dry but does nothing about existing bacteria.
Is this only for men?
Rohto markets the DEOU line to men and the packaging says so in Japanese. There is nothing sex-specific in the formula, and the scent is a light citrus-herb rather than a heavy masculine fragrance. Plenty of the customers who reorder it are women.
What is 'age-related odour' and is that real?
It is the usual translation of 加齢臭, a term used routinely in Japanese personal-care marketing for a change in body odour that many people notice from middle age onward. Rohto builds the line around it. We are describing what the product is aimed at, not making a claim about your body.
Can I use it on my face if that is where I notice the smell?
No. Rohto's own instructions keep it to the body — underarms, neck, behind the ears. Facial skin is thinner and this formula carries an antiperspirant salt and two bactericides. If facial odour is the concern, it is worth asking a doctor rather than reaching for a body product.
Is this the Japanese domestic version?
