Two of those are worth knowing about. Ethanol is the second ingredient — it is what makes the spray feel cold as it evaporates, and it is why the product is flammable and stings on broken skin. Hydroxypropyl-beta-cyclodextrin is the mechanism behind the “scent capsules”: a ring-shaped sugar molecule that holds fragrance and releases it on contact with moisture, which is why the scent lifts again when you sweat.
Cautions
- Flammable. Contains ethanol. Do not use near an open flame, do not smoke while applying, and do not spray onto a heated surface.
- Do not use on broken, inflamed, shaved or sunburned skin. Alcohol and menthol both sting there.
- Do not spray onto the face. If it reaches the eyes, rinse with plenty of water and see a doctor if discomfort continues.
- Stop using it if redness, itching, swelling or a rash appears, and see a doctor if it does not settle.
- Menthol can feel very cold on thin skin. Try a small area first if you have not used a menthol product before.
- Do not inhale the spray, and use it in a ventilated space.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not store in a car in summer, near heaters, or in direct sunlight — the container is pressurised by heat.

Is it an antiperspirant or a deodorant?
Both, in the Japanese sense. As a 医薬部外品 it declares zinc para-phenolsulfonate, an astringent that acts on sweat, and benzalkonium chloride, which acts on the bacteria that make sweat smell. It is not an aluminium-salt antiperspirant of the Western kind — there is no aluminium chlorohydrate in it.
Does it contain alcohol?
Yes. Ethanol is the second ingredient after purified water. That is what produces the cold feeling as it evaporates, and it is also why the product is flammable and why it stings on shaved or broken skin. We carry no halal certification for it.
Will it leave white marks on clothes?
It is a clear liquid spray, not a powder aerosol, so it does not leave the white film that powdered sprays can. Let it dry for a few seconds before dressing, as you would with any alcohol-based mist.
How is this different from the aerosol Seabreeze?
This is a trigger bottle: no propellant gas, sprays at any angle, and easier to take on a trip. The aerosol versions spray finer and cover more skin at once. The formula family and the cooling are the same idea.
Can I use it on my face?
