How to Use
- Check that your holder takes Feather F-System cartridges before you fit one.
- Push the used cartridge off the head without touching the blade edge, and put it straight into a blade bank or a wrapped package.
- Slide a fresh cartridge on until it seats — it should not rock.
- Wet the beard, lather, and shave with the grain in short strokes.
- Rinse the cartridge through from the back after every shave and stand the razor head-up to dry.

Materials and Construction
Blade. Stainless blade steel with a platinum-alloy and resin double coating, which is Feather's stated construction for its cartridge blades. Two blades per cartridge.
Cartridge body and handle. ABS resin and rubber.
Made by. Feather Safety Razor Co., Ltd., founded 1932. Feather states that every step from production to dispatch is managed inside its own plants; its blade works are in Gifu Prefecture, at Seki and Mino.
Lubricating strip. The cartridge carries a lubricating strip containing vitamin E.
Cautions
- The blades are extremely sharp. Handle the cartridge by its body, never by the blade edge.
- Do not share a razor or a cartridge with anyone. Razors draw blood more often than people notice, and sharing one is a route for blood-borne infection.
- Replace the cartridge when it starts to pull or tug rather than on a fixed schedule. A blade that drags is the one that causes nicks and irritation.
- Do not use over broken, irritated or sunburnt skin, or over moles and raised lesions.
- Rinse the head through after every shave and let it dry standing up; a wet cartridge dulls and harbours bacteria.
- Keep out of reach of children, away from heaters, direct sunlight and heat.
- Dispose of used cartridges so that nobody can be cut by them — wrap them, or use a blade bank.
- For shaving hair only. Not a medical or surgical instrument.

Is a razor handle included?
No. This box holds ten cartridges and nothing else. If you do not already own a Feather F-System holder, buy the razor as well — otherwise these cartridges have nothing to fit on.
The web address of this page says "samrai edge". Is this the Samurai Edge blade?
No. Feather's Samurai Edge (PFSE-30B) is a professional F-System blade sold thirty to a box for the barber shavettes in Feather's trade range — a different product from the consumer T-shape cartridge razor shown here. The address of this page is a leftover and we have left it alone rather than break links that already point at it.
Will they fit the Feather razor I already have?
If it is a current Feather cartridge holder, yes — that is what the F-System name means. Feather publishes a compatibility index covering its consumer holders and cartridges. If you are unsure, send us the model name printed on your handle and we will check the index before you order.
How long should ten cartridges last?
That depends entirely on your beard and how many passes you take, so any number of weeks we gave you would be made up. The honest rule is the one that protects your skin: change the cartridge when it starts to pull rather than glide, and buy in tens so that doing so is never the expensive option.
Can I sharpen or reuse a cartridge?
No. The blades are thin, coated and set in a plastic frame; there is no way to strop them and any attempt rolls the edge. Retire a cartridge into a blade bank or a wrapped package so nobody handling your rubbish is cut.
