Description
Spa Treatment i Micro Patch Hyaluronic Acid Microneedle, 8 Sheets
Overview
A microneedle patch rather than a soaked one. Each sheet carries roughly 150 needles about 230 micrometres tall, and the needles themselves are formed from hydrolysed hyaluronic acid — nothing else holds them together. Pressed onto dry skin they dissolve, depositing the hyaluronic acid into the stratum corneum instead of leaving it on the surface. Made for dry fine lines around the eyes, mouth and nasolabial folds. See also our Japanese eye care.

Who Is This For?
- Anyone from about 25 onwards noticing dry fine lines around eyes or mouth
- Dry, air-conditioned or heated environments that leave skin creased
- People who want a targeted overnight treatment without heavy creams
- Anyone looking for an additive-free formula
How to Use
- Cleanse and apply your toner, then make sure skin AND fingers are completely dry — any moisture makes the patch slip
- Peel the white protective tape from the adhesive border without touching the needle surface in the centre
- Place the patch over the concern area — under the eye, nasolabial fold or lip lines
- Press straight down firmly with one finger, then smooth outward from the centre to remove air bubbles
- Leave on at least 40 minutes or overnight, then peel off slowly and massage in the remaining essence
Frequency: One or two times a week

Cautions
- Patch test on the inner forearm before first use, especially if your skin is reactive.
- Discontinue use and consult a doctor if redness, itching, swelling or persistent stinging occurs.
- Avoid contact with the eyes. If the product enters the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
- Do not apply to broken, sunburned or actively inflamed skin.
- Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.
- Do not touch the microneedle surface with your fingers before application — skin moisture starts dissolving the needles before they reach the target area.
- Do not use on broken, sunburned or irritated skin.
- A slight prickling on application is expected from the needle structure. Sharp stinging, burning or lasting redness is not — remove the patch if that happens.
- The effect is cosmetic hydration of the surface layers. Dry fine lines look softened while the skin is well hydrated; this is not a filler and it does not treat structural wrinkles.

FAQ
Do the needles hurt?
You feel a light prickling as you press the patch down, and that fades within a minute or two as the needles begin to dissolve. They are 230 micrometres tall and made of hyaluronic acid, so they reach into the stratum corneum, not into living tissue. Sharp pain is not normal — take the patch off if you feel it.
Why does everything have to be dry?
Because the needles are made of hyaluronic acid, which dissolves in water. Damp fingers or a damp face will start dissolving them before the patch is in position, and the adhesive will not hold either. Dry hands and dry skin are the difference between the patch working and the patch sliding off.
How does this differ from the other patches in the series?
This one is the plain hyaluronic acid version, aimed at dry fine lines. The HAS version adds retinol and Syn-Ake and is aimed at firmness; the RET version pairs hyaluronic acid with a human adipocyte extract and beta-glucan for elasticity and radiance. Start with this one if your concern is dryness rather than firmness.
Is there any evidence it works?
The manufacturer commissioned an efficacy evaluation from DRC Co., Ltd. on dry fine lines around the eyes and mouth. That is a manufacturer-commissioned assessment rather than independent clinical proof, so read it as supportive rather than conclusive. Microneedle delivery of hyaluronic acid is a well-established cosmetic format in Japan.
Is this product halal or suitable for vegans?
The declared ingredient list is plant- and mineral-derived, with no animal ingredients, so it fits a vegan routine. It carries no halal certification, however — Japanese domestic cosmetics are rarely certified — so if certification itself matters to you, this product does not have it.
