- Contains an ingredient derived from cultured human cells. Ingredients of human origin are not permitted in cosmetics sold in the European Union (Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, Annex II). This is a Japanese domestic cosmetic and is offered on that basis; if you are ordering into the EU, please read the FAQ below before you buy.
- Because of the human-derived active, this product is not vegan and is not acceptable under most halal interpretations.
- No single application of any SPF product lasts all day. To keep the stated SPF50+ protection you must reapply, and you should still use shade, clothing and timing to limit sun exposure.
- For the eye and face area only as a facial product; avoid the immediate eye area and keep it out of the eyes.
- Patch test on the inner forearm before first use, especially if your skin is reactive.
- Discontinue use and consult a doctor if redness, itching, swelling or persistent stinging occurs.
- Avoid contact with the eyes. If the product enters the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
- Do not apply to broken, sunburned or actively inflamed skin.

FAQ
This contains a human-derived ingredient — what does that mean for me?
It means the active is grown from cultured human cells rather than from a plant or an animal. Japan permits this class of ingredient in cosmetics and regulates it; the European Union does not permit it at all, because Annex II of the EU Cosmetics Regulation prohibits cells, tissues and products of human origin in cosmetic products. That prohibition is about the risk of transmitting disease through human-sourced material, and it applies regardless of how the ingredient performs. Practically: this is a Japanese domestic product, we ship it as such, and an EU customs authority may take a view on it. It is also, unavoidably, neither vegan nor acceptable under most halal interpretations. If any of that is a problem for you, we would rather you knew before ordering than after.
Is the SPF50+ enough on its own?
It is a high level of stated protection, but a CC cream is applied more thinly than a dedicated sunscreen, and no SPF product keeps its rating without reapplication. Treat it as convenient daytime protection for ordinary days, reapply it if you are outdoors for longer, and if you expect heavy sun exposure, layer a dedicated sunscreen underneath and reapply that. SPF is one tool alongside shade, clothing and timing.
What is the difference between the Beige and Rose Beige shades?
Both are light, natural tones intended to even out skin rather than fully cover it. Beige is the more neutral option; Rose Beige has a slightly pink undertone that can suit skin with cooler or ruddier tones. Because it is a sheer CC finish rather than a full-coverage foundation, both shades adapt reasonably well to a range of complexions, but pick the undertone closest to your own.
Does it contain chemical UV filters?
The manufacturer states the formula is made without UV absorbers, which usually points to a mineral (physical) sun-protection approach. The summary we have lists actives rather than the full INCI, so we cannot confirm the exact filter system from it. The complete ingredient list is printed on the Japanese packaging — send us a photo after delivery if you need the specifics.
Will I pay customs duty or import VAT?
That depends on your country and on the declared value of the parcel, not on us.
