Description
Transderma R Resveratrol Serum, 30 ml
Overview
A concentrated antioxidant serum built on two plant polyphenols — trans-resveratrol and piceid — with L-ascorbic acid in an organic propanediol base. There is no water phase, no emulsifier and no fragrance; it is close to the minimum number of ingredients a serum can have.
One thing to be clear about before you buy: this is a Swedish product, not a Japanese one. Transderma is a Swedish brand. We stock it and dispatch it from Kobe like everything else, but the country of manufacture is Sweden. Nearly everything else in our catalogue is made in Japan, and we would rather say so on the page than have you find out from the carton.

Who Is This For?
- Mature skin already using a vitamin C step and looking to add polyphenol antioxidants
- People who prefer very short ingredient lists and no fragrance
- Anyone specifically seeking Transderma, which is hard to buy in much of Asia
- Not for you if you are looking for a Japanese-made serum — say so and we will suggest one
- Not for you if pure ascorbic acid has irritated your skin before
How to Use
- Cleanse and apply your toner or lotion step first.
- Dispense a few drops into the palm — this is a concentrate and a little covers the face.
- Press it into the skin rather than rubbing it in.
- Wait until it has absorbed before the next step.
- Follow with moisturiser, and with sunscreen in the morning.
Frequency: Once or twice a day. If you are new to pure ascorbic acid, start at night, every other day.
Full Ingredients
Declared actives (maker's own): organic 1,2-propanediol, L-ascorbic acid, trans-resveratrol and piceid (the glucoside form of resveratrol).
It is a short formula by design — a concentrated serum with no water phase, so it carries no emulsifier and no preservative system of the usual kind.
What is NOT in it: coenzyme Q10 and amino acids. Both appeared on our previous listing and neither is a declared ingredient of Transderma R. Transderma sells other serums; CoQ10 belongs to a different one.
If you need the complete label list before ordering, ask us and we will read it off the carton in Kobe.
Cautions
- Contains L-ascorbic acid. Introduce it gradually if your skin has reacted to vitamin C serums before.
- Patch-test on the inner forearm before first use.
- Avoid the eye area. If it gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
- Stop using it if redness, persistent stinging, swelling or itching develops, and see a doctor if it does not settle.
- Do not use on broken, sunburnt or actively inflamed skin.
- Store closed and away from direct sunlight and heat. Ascorbic acid formulas darken as they age.

FAQ
Is this product made in Japan?
No. Transderma is a Swedish skincare brand and Transderma R is a Swedish product. Almost everything else we sell is Japanese; this is not. We stock it and ship it from our shop in Kobe, but the country of manufacture is Sweden, not Japan.
Does it contain coenzyme Q10?
No. Transderma declares organic 1,2-propanediol, L-ascorbic acid, trans-resveratrol and piceid. Our earlier listing named coenzyme Q10 and amino acids; neither is in this serum. Transderma makes other serums and CoQ10 belongs to one of those.
What do resveratrol and piceid actually do?
Both are polyphenol antioxidants from plants — resveratrol is the one associated with grape skin, and piceid is its glucoside. Transderma's own positioning is antioxidant care and evening the look of the skin tone. We are not making a treatment claim for pigmentation on this page.
Why is it so expensive?
It is a small-batch concentrated serum from a niche Swedish brand, and it is priced accordingly in every market. At ¥28,000 for 30 ml this is one of the most expensive items in our catalogue, which is exactly why the page should tell you what is and is not in the bottle before you buy.
Can I see the full ingredient label before ordering?
Yes. Transderma does not publish a full INCI list online, so rather than guess it we will photograph or transcribe the carton for you on request. Message us before ordering.
