The UNIQLO Utility Shoulder Bag (ユーティリティショルダーバッグ) is a unisex crossbody bag of about 13 litres with seven pockets, a padded internal sleeve sized for a tablet, and a double-slider zip on the main compartment. The nylon shell carries a water-repellent finish, which is not the same thing as being waterproof — see the care notes.

How to Use
- Adjust the strap to the length you want — shoulder or crossbody.
- Sort what you carry across the seven pockets: quick-access items in the front pockets, a bottle or folded umbrella in a side pocket, keys on the key holder.
- Put a tablet or small device in the padded internal sleeve of the main compartment.
- Close the main compartment with the double-slider zip, which you can work from either end.
- After rain, wipe the shell dry rather than leaving it damp in a cupboard.

Water-repellent means water beads and runs off for a while. It does not mean waterproof, the coating weakens with use, and it was never going to survive a downpour. We would rather say that than let you find out with a tablet inside.
Cautions
- Do not machine wash, dry clean or tumble dry.
- When soiled, wipe gently with a cloth dampened in diluted neutral detergent, wipe again with a clean damp cloth, then air dry fully in the shade.
- The water-repellent finish is not permanent and weakens with use. The bag is not waterproof at any point in its life.
- Colour may transfer when the bag is wet — take care with light-coloured clothing.
- Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and heat, which fade and discolour nylon.
- Do not overload it. Thirteen litres of heavy contents is more strain than the strap and seams are built for.

The padded sleeve is sized for a tablet. A very small laptop might physically go in, but it is not what the sleeve was built for and we would not recommend carrying one in it every day.

No. UNIQLO designs in Japan and manufactures overseas, and this bag is no exception. We buy it in Japan and ship it from Kobe, which is a different claim and the only one we make.
How is it shipped, and how long does it take?
It leaves our warehouse in Kobe, Japan within 2–6 business days with a tracking number. Delivery after that depends on your destination — commonly 7–21 days — and any import duty or tax is set by your own country, not by us.
