Yoando NMN 9000 is the entry model of Abe Yoando's three-step NMN range. Two capsules a day supply 300 mg of β-NMN; a bottle of 60 capsules lasts 30 days. The maker specifies 99.9 % β-NMN, manufactured in Japan.
The name is the box, not the dose. "9000" is the total milligrams of NMN in the bottle — 300 mg × 30 days. The 18000 and the 30000 are named the same way, so compare 300 / 600 / 1,000 mg per day rather than the numbers on the front.
Alongside the NMN the capsules carry resveratrol from red wine extract, fermented black garlic, black vinegar moromi, heat-killed bifidobacteria, L-cystine, and a full vitamin set — A, C, D, E and B1, B2, B6, B12, folic acid, niacin and pantothenate. The shell is an acid-resistant HPMC capsule, which the maker calls its Long Effect Formula.
Who makes it. Abe Yoando Pharmaceutical (株式会社阿部養庵堂薬品), based in Adachi, Tokyo. The name goes back to 阿部養庵貞維, who in 1731 was a dispenser and prescriber of kampō medicine and served as 御典医 — official physician — to the Matsudaira house. The company as it exists today was incorporated in 1984 under a different name and took its present one in 2023. It has sold NMN since 2019, and is reported to have been the first Japanese company to clear NMN through customs as a food.
What this is, legally. In Japan this is an ordinary food (一般食品), not a 機能性表示食品 with a filed function claim, so neither the maker nor we may tell you what it does in the body — and this page does not. In the United States, NMN is lawful in dietary supplements: the FDA confirmed on 29 September 2025 that it is not excluded from the dietary supplement definition, reversing its 2022 position. In the European Union, NMN is an unauthorised novel food and may not lawfully be placed on the EU market; EFSA's positive safety opinion of 13 May 2026 covers one specific applicant's NMN and does not extend to other producers.

What does an acid-resistant capsule actually do?
It is a capsule shell formulated to resist dissolving in stomach acid, so it opens further down the digestive tract instead of in the stomach. That is a physical property of the shell, and the maker names it 耐酸性 on the pack. What it means for how much NMN ends up in your bloodstream has not been measured for this product, so we do not claim a figure.
Is there caffeine or a stimulant in it?
