Overview
Kao's Biore cooling body sheets are thick, large wipes soaked in cooling water with menthol. Kao's own figure is a skin temperature of −3 °C, measured when the sheet is wiped back and forth twice over the same area — so the double wipe is the instruction, not an optional extra. They lift sticky sweat and the sebum that causes odour, leave sodium hyaluronate behind, and finish with a light Refresh Floral scent.
Ethanol is the second ingredient after water, and this is a body sheet: Kao instructs that it is not used on the face. Read Cautions before you buy. How to Use
- Take one sheet from the pack. Kao recommends folding it to palm size before you start.
- Wipe firmly, and wipe each area back and forth twice — this is the condition under which the −3 °C figure is measured, not a bonus step.
- Work over the neck, arms, back and legs. Do not use the sheet on the face, on mucous membranes, on broken or irritated skin, or immediately after hair removal.
- Do not leave a sheet resting against the skin; wipe with it and take it away.
- Smooth the adhesive face of the seal and close the pack properly so the remaining sheets stay wet. Discard the used sheet in the bin — it does not dissolve and must not be flushed.
Frequency: As needed in hot weather. Use the pack up reasonably soon after opening — drying degrades the sheets.

Cautions
- Kao instructs that these sheets must not be used by anyone sensitive to the cooling sting of menthol, anyone with alcohol hypersensitivity, anyone with especially fragile skin, or by infants and small children.
- Do not use on wounds, swellings, eczema or any abnormal area; not on the face; not on mucous membranes; and not immediately after hair removal.
- Do not hold a sheet in prolonged contact with the skin.
- Watch the skin while using. Stop and see a dermatologist if redness, swelling, itching, stinging, loss of pigment or darkening appears, or if the same happens under direct sunlight. Continuing can make it worse.
- If the solution gets in the eyes, rinse thoroughly at once.
- The sheets do not dissolve in water. Do not flush them.
- Do not use the sheets on furniture, floors or electrical appliances.
- Do not store in a hot place or in direct sunlight. The pack holds a lot of liquid and may seep if it is squashed in a bag.

Is it really −3 °C?
That is Kao's measured figure, and it comes with a condition our page used to leave out: the sheet is wiped back and forth twice over the same area. One quick pass will feel cool but is not the condition under which the number was measured. Wipe twice.
Can I use these on my face?
No. Kao's instructions name the face specifically among the places these must not be used, along with mucous membranes, broken or irritated skin and skin straight after hair removal. This is a body sheet with menthol and ethanol in it.
There is alcohol in these?
Yes. Ethanol is the second ingredient after water, and Kao publishes the concentration as 24% or less. Kao instructs that anyone with alcohol hypersensitivity should not use them at all. If that is you, this product is not a candidate, fragranced or not.
How is this different from the fragrance-free version?
The formula is the same list with fragrance added, and the sheet, the size and the −3 °C figure are identical. If you dislike scent after wiping, or are layering it over perfume, take the fragrance-free pack instead — it is linked at the top of this page.
Can I post these by air?
